put some milk on

I'm loving digital prints at the moment. Black Milk has created cleaver, fun designs that you can slip on for an urban edge. It was a friend who first brought Black Milk to my attention after bragging about her new Cathedral Skirt.

I've picked two pieces I will purchase when I travel to Australia, one of which may be the Cathedral Skirt (don't tell my friend) and some tights. Digital print tights can make an outfit, whether layered with a basic tee or knit or your favourite little black dress. Having recently seen the Animal Inside Out exhibition at the Natural History Museum (which has sadly just come to an end), the Muscle Tights (pictured top) intrigue and delight me while getting me thinking perhaps I can actually pull them off.

To get some inspiration yourself or find bits to add to your wardrobe you must visit the Black Milk website. Check out the Star Wars collection which is being released on the 29th of October.

precious prints

It was when my sister emailed me and asked me to recommend a shop or artist that did affordable prints that I get my thinking cap on. I have blogged about many artists... but what would be in her price range and be her taste? That's when it hit me. Art and Ghosts create mystical worlds where almost anything is possible. I loved the prints she purchased and it got me having a look at their latest additions. One of my favourites is 'Friends, Forever' as it is so innocent it reminds me of when everyone wanted someone to call their best friend when we were younger. Everyone must remember promising someone that if they just did this tiny little favour for them, we would be their 'best friend'. You can purchase your own best friend print via Big Cartel. Don't miss out and get your orders in!

drawn to them

These pencils are the cutest addition to any gift. I absolutely love the 'Reasons I Love You' pencil set (second from top). Friend or foe, whoever gave me a set of those would get a big sloppy one on the cheek. I can imagine that the 'Classic Rap' pencil set (bottom) would be a top seller. There are sets for everyone including 'Keyboard Shortcuts' and 'Midcentury Designer' pencil set all by OneUp Designs. Genius!
