I picked up this flier at a local coffee spot... that advertised an exhibition opening for Australian Characters, a new typeface by Spike Hibberd and Sarrita King. The typeface was created to explore ideas about who we are as Australians, what defines us and where we are going. It opened at Gallery 577 on March 5th... but ended on March 27th! I was shattered. But apparently there are more exhibitions to come. If you want to have a look-see then i suggest checking out Spike Hibberd's website for more info still to come.
